  • Hilariously Horrible Bluegrass Singer

Yo folks, I don't really have anything interesting to write about... except for the fact that I herd the absolute worst bluegrass music singer I have ever herd!

I was browsing through Bluegrass albums on iTunes, I started listening to samples of an album called Bluegrass Favorites, when I clicked on "Lonesome Road"... I started laughing hysterically. This guy was so bad at singing I could barely make out any of the words. It was hilariously horrible. And to see if you agree, I have placed 2 songs on my Xanga audio page.

Ok, listen to this one first.

And you probably thought that was bad... listen to this!

Terrible huh? Be sure to comment and tell me what you thought!

Anyway, in other news, I'm most likely going to learn an interment! Fun!

Anyways, thats all for now childriens. (and whoever else may be reading)

Duluth, a city consisting of...... really big ships.

Well it is now 11:05 p.m. on October the 6th. Tomorrow morning we head out to the City of Duluth. We made reservations to stay at some cabin... type... things. Well actually they're round... no I'm serious, round cabins, placed 10 feet off the ground. Anyway, they're really cool.... *ahem* they are really... fantastic. (only people who go to the Buffalo co-op writing class will get that joke)

    Anyway, "Moving on."

Now, I guess I should explain the title of this post: "Duluth, a city consisting of...... really big ships." Well, for those of you who do not know this already, huge 1,000 foot ships travel to and from Duluth. Carrying cargo, and a crew... I hope. And don't worry, the front's don't fall of these ships. (anyone who watches videos on David Dueck's website: www.foopaux.com will understand that)

So, I'm very excited for our vacation coming up, and I sadly... will not be able to post while I'm there. :C But I'll try to get some pictures taken and post them here when I get back.

Anyway, thats all for now folks.

    Yayness, Andrew.

Oh boy, I'm a teenager. Does this mean I have to buy an iPod and have excessive amounts of hair?

September 30th, 2007: A day I shall remember for the remainder of my years as the day I entered the weirded out,  strange world of... teenagers!

But, not to worry, I still get excited when Mom takes out the pie... whatever.

One thing that was somewhat odd was the fact that I did not spend more then 2 hours at my home on the date of my birthday. most of it was at the Masica household. The evening of September 30th the Masicas put of a fall party consisting of good food, an evening of fun and games, and nightgames. Lots of fun. For most of the games that took place in the evening, me, my friend Judah, and some other peoples were refs, or judges. We went around and threw people out of the game if they ether knocked over the pin, got to the line last, fell on the ground last, and stuff like that. Fun, fun, fun!

Then we went back to the house, ate dinner, and played capture the flag. After that everyone went home, and me and my sister spent the night there. And everything that went on the next day is not worth recording down permanently on a blog, except the 45 minutes of sneaking through huge corn fields.

So, that's how I spend Sunday the 30th, and Monday, the 1st of October.

Oh, and I guess you're wondering what I got for my b-day. Well, first I got some new hunting knives. And also a new cell phone. Hey, what can I say?! I'm a teenager, it's like against the law to not own a cell phone!

    Anyway, thats all folks.

    Yayness, Andrew.

  • Trip to "The Windy City!"

Ok, first of all I would like to apologize, I said in my other post that I would be writing about a work day at the Masicas. Well, uh... I never went to the Masicas. Instead I went to Chicago. So, I shall think back and write about every little thing that happened thought the entire trip... everything!

First I took a step................ then another step... ok, ok, maybe not EVERY little thing that happened, just the significant events that happened to happen when Peter happened to not have his significant happenings shirt on.... but I won't go into that story.

    Day one:

Well, first of all we packed, then at about 10:30 A.M. we left, and things were pretty boring while we drove 8 hours to IBLP Headquarters. So I'll skip a few hours to when we got there........ 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, hour one..... 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, hour two, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, hour three... and so on until hour eight...

Once we got there, we drove to Eric's house, unpacked all our junk, and went in the house. My recollection of what went on inside the house if a bid foggy, but I do remember playing Battlefield 2... anyway, after doing some things inside the house... which I do not remmember... we went out for dinner at a place called Cici's Pizza Buffet. And ate some delicious pizza. Then we went to Fry's Electronics Store and looked at all of the overpriced junk in there. Then we went home, and after a while went to bed......

    Day Two:

The first thing we did was get up... I think... then  my Dad made Waffles, after consuming..... one... waffle, we headed up to the train station to get a ride to Chicago Union Station. And when we got there we started our trek, I guess you could call it, to the Chicago Air Show.

After watching that marvelous air show, we started our trek back to Union Station, we walked almost 6 miles that day, now you see why I called it a trek. Heh, anyway, when we got home, we went to bed and I got a VERY good sleep that night...

    Day Three:

Well on day three we got up, Dad and Eric went to get Dunken Donuts, and we ate a hearty breakfast. After that we went yet again up, or was it down..... to the train station. And we yet again went on a trek, only this time it was through the rain, the pouring rain. I got soaked from knee to toe! No, I'm serious, I had a rain poncho on and I was soaked from my knee's to my toes. I was very happy to get to that McDonalds and have a big mack meal. Yumm...

Anyway, after that we went to see if we could see ware they were filming The Dark Knight (Batman). But when we got there we were told that in was the filming for The Wanted, we thought that was strange, so we went to the other place we thought they might be filming, and sure enough, we saw big camera's and camera cranes, and lighting equipment and preview cameras, and all that other expensive junk. So we thought we had finally found that Batman set, but we saw a bunch of director chairs that said Wanted on them. So we thought that were trying to keep it a secret that it was Batman, by calling it The Wanted. But after we got home that night, Eric looked on IMDB and sure enough, it was The Wanted.

But anyway, after another long drive back to our house in Rockford Minnesota. We were greeted by the familiar faces, and stinks, of home. (and the stinks were mostly from my feet)

And that marks the end of a very eventful three days in Chicago Illinois.

    Yayness, Andrew.
